Hamachi is a free software that can establish a secure and reliable connection between two or more PC's and create a private local network between them. Hamachi is possibly the easiest way to create a virtual network between computers connected to the Internet. Connections are secure and the data exchange is addressed.
Based on the UDP protocol Hamachi lets you create a virtual network to which other users can access file shares. All this through a usual internet connection without having to set anything except a name for the network and a password.
Hamachi interface is very simple. A small window shows all the networks that are connected and the computers connected to each of them. Hamachi also offers simple text chat to communicate quickly with other members. These communications, like any other data exchange between PC, is protected by encryption, so it should be impossible to interpret the data transmitted from the outside.
