There are several reasons why you can change the MAC address of your Bluetooth adapter or dongle. For example, you may be worried and want to enhance your privacy. You can also have multiple Bluetooth keys with the same address, or may simply want to change the direction for fun. The simple graphical user interface of the application displays the details of your Bluetooth adapter or dongle on top, including the current Bluetooth MAC address, the chipmaker, name and if the adapter is compatible or not.
You choose the new MAC address in the central panel. You can write what you want or let the app choose a random direction for you. Then simply click the "Change" button.
However, Bluetooth MAC Address Changer lets you choose how the new features address before clicking on the 'Change' button. For example, you can check the box "temporary" check if you do not want to save the new address after disconnecting the Bluetooth adapter. When the check box 'Auto reset' is not checked, then you have to re-plug the Bluetooth adapter for the changes to take effect.
Note that these features are not compatible with all Bluetooth adapters. They are only compatible with security devices that use chips from CSR.
