Chat 

Chat with friends in a live chat session (available in newer versions of iOS and Android WeChat) 

Click "+" on a chat group chat and select "Live Chat". 

• One invitation message will be sent to the group chat automatically. 
• Hold the button in the center. Speak after the tone when the light turns green. 
• Members in Chat listen immediately. Only one person can speak at a time. The indicator light will turn red if the button is pressed, while others are talking, and you will not be able to speak. 

Group chat QR Code 

Invite your friends to a group chat WeChat by QR code (available in the latest versions of iOS and Android WeChat) 

• Open a chat group chat and click the upper right corner. 
• Select "Group Chat QR Code". 
• Select "..." in the upper right corner. You can share the QR code group chat through email or save it to your device. 
• People can scan the QR code with WeChat to join this chat group. 

Video call 

Video calling is available in versions 4.2 and later WeChat, allowing you to talk to your friends face to face. 

• In the chat window, press "+" and select "Video Call". 
• If your friend has not sent you a message in the last 10 minutes, you need to send an invitation message and get a response in order to call them. 
• Select "Video Call" back into the chat window. Your friend will observe the following window and press OK to start. 
• You can switch between video and audio during the call.
